How to Change Default location of Scanned Documents Windows 7/8/10

Windows always store the scanned file in its difficult store section i.e C:Users User Name Documents when you use the Windows Fax, and Scan application. 

N.B you can change the scanned image file format (ex-JPG, BMP, PNG and TIF)

You can change the default file store location by using 2 simple technique.

Solution-1

1- Right-click on document → Add New Folder → Click Scan → as shown in the picture given below.

This function will allow you only to save the file within (C:Users-User Name-Documents) Document folder with your customized new folder.

You can use Run command to open Windows Fax, and Scan application 

C:\Windows\System32\wiaacmgr.exe

Solution-2

Right-click on document → Click on Document Properties → Click on Location → Type your desired path as shown in the picture given below.

N.B: 

→  All of your file which were saved earlier in the default location will move to the new location.

→  If you reinstall Windows 7/8/10 operating system, this function will restore to its default location
